Stolen A’van
Judith and I are heart-broken, as we have just had our beautiful A-Van Cruiseliner stolen on the weekend. We had only owned it for approximately 10 weeks! It was a 2002 model that had recently been advertised by Coromal Caravans in Adelaide, and featured a large King Size bed at the rear (converting to a breakfast bar setting), with a full kitchen setting up forward, together with an Air-conditioner unit in the centre module, plus Solar, plus full-annexe.
It is insured with C.I.L. Insurance, but all we want is our 'Mouse House' back again. We thought if all A'Vanners could be notified in the next A'Vanner publication, it may improve the chances of it's recovery. The details are as follows:
VIN Number: 6H3AVAN012M000333
Qld Rego: 293-QSE
We thoroughly enjoyed the Yamba get-together, and had already booked for Crows Nest. We'll just have to wait and see now.
Sorry to be the conveyer of such bad news - let's hope there's a happy outcome!
Best Regards.
Lindsay and Judith.

Van stolen:
I am writing to you as a financial member of the
Avan
Club but not active as we sold our
cruiseliner
through the web site last year and purchased an
Avan
“
Erin
”,
sadlly
our van was stolen along with an
Avan
“
Marion
” and a boat from a storage yard in
Somerville
Vic. last Friday night. I am bringing this to your attention so maybe you can share with all members the need to be vigilant at all times as there are low
lifes
who think it is ok to take others cherished possessions for their own personal gains. No amount of security seems to stop them in their
endeavours
as numerous locks and chains were destroyed during this break in. We all need to be observant and support each other if we hear or see vans being offered cheaply especially with damaged doors or locks. Through the local dealer the
Avan
factory has been alerted if anyone
trys
to order new locks or keys
Our van’s registration number is S69977 and
chasis
number is 6H3AVAN048M000083. The matter is being handled by Detective Sergeant Ronald
Fauvel
at Hastings CIB phone (03) 59707850, if anyone has information regarding this theft.
