Ukulele Sizes - Soprano, Concert, Tenor & Baritone=
This site gives you info on the other ukulele available and why you might consider them instead of a soprano model. http://www.ukuleletricks.com/ukulele-sizes-soprano-concert-tenor-baritone/
Dr. Ukehas long been one of the main references for new uke players. It continues to be one of the best. New songs are constantly being added. Songs are presented in 2 formats. One with lyrics and chord symbols, another with lyrics and chord names. An added bonus is that many of the songs have an audio track of the 'Doctor' and his 2 daughters singing and playing it. Dr.Uke will keep you going for a long time.

An ABC Radio documentary about the uke.

Ubeautukes
is my local uke group. It was started in mid-2012 with the aim of having people learn the uke and eventually entertain at district aged care and retirement homes. Many in the group had never played an instrument before. As well, some of them have played other instruments and have been charmed by the mighty uke. There is a list of links to songs, pictures and some video.
"UKULELE - THE THINKING MAN'S VIOLIN"
This quote comes from the Nottingham Ukulele Clubwebsite. They also have a good collection of printable music. Well worth a look.

MARLOW UKE GROUP

has an extensive collection of songs in 4 song books. The format (to me) is not as user friendly for beginners as 'Dr. Uke', but perfectly useable. You should check out the song books.
